About

With over 15 years’ experience in the special education sector as a teacher, leader and researcher, I am passionate about working with schools, businesses and individuals to improve outcomes for neurodiverse children, young people and adults.

As an experienced SENCO who has supported over 100 families with their EHCP journeys, involving more than 10 different local authorities, I am only too aware of how daunting a process it can be. My aim is to support parents to navigate the process and understand how to liaise with local authorities in order to achieve the right results for their child.

In providing schools with virtual SENCO services, including a full SEND audit, I am able to work with school leaders to review and hone provision in order to create a truly inclusive approach and ethos which involves the whole school community.

My extensive academic research across fields such as autism, executive functioning, identity and mental health have provided me with an insight that I am able to share as a keynote speaker and lecturer. My most recent talks include The Dyslexia Show 2024 and the Independent School Council’s SEND Conference. I regularly deliver talks to PGCE and B. Ed students as well as to schools and businesses who wish to ensure their provision is not only accessible to all but also facilitates equity of experience, opportunity and success.
